1 million frames per second bullet videos

Cool clips of what bullets do when impacting and being impacted by various things.

Re: 1 million frames per second bullet videos

It looked like they were hitting it with a piece of lead shot fired from some kind of pellet gun or something. In one of them, it was kind of flattened, don't know why, before it hit the bullet, as if it had been part of a shot load.

They showed one short clip of some kind of thing firing one individual round small ball. Maybe he has his own setup to fire a BB thing when the bullet passes by, triggered by the bullet breaking a light beam 'r somethin'.

There is one time in the video where the head of a bullet went sliding before it impacted on the glass. It must have hit another hard object before it went through the glass.

Where in the video?

Some of the shots were done at glass that was at an angle to the bullet path, not perpendicular.

At 5:06 that bullet is yawed wildly, as if it had already been through something else, or was fired crazy from a slingshot, and I think that is a block of ballistic gelatin that it hits.

Near the end, I think it may be the wad from the shotgun that is following the BB's.

Nice, relaxing video. I'd like to see the same video except have the bullets fired at a bullet proof vest.

Re: 1 million frames per second bullet videos

That led me to a random thought about a shootout between Wayne LaPierre and the gun-grabbers, in body armor, in slow-mo, like where two guys face each other and punch the other guy's shoulder, etc.

THAT random thought came from the debate over the Five seveN round, as to whether it was "armor piercing" and thus should be banned, when one of the gun-grabber legislators said that Wayne should be shot with the Five seveN while wearing body armor if he thought it was safe. Wayne responded that this demonstrated a complete lack of gun safety training on the part of his opponent, which was a scintillating retort.

I'd like to see a video of people who say taking away guns reduces crime. Ever wonder why Japan invaded China, a country, then of 500 million or so people, instead of the USA, with FAR fewer people? America, with so many of its men already committed elsewhere, should have been a cakewalk, no? Then why fight China instead, with all its men in theater, and a vastly superior population?

Guns, baby. Guns. Americans had the guns.

Anyway, the anti-gun folks can walk through some of the most drugged-out, thugged-out ghettos in the USA, and if they voted to steal guns from the people, they get to go the entire ten miles, starting at around nine pm, without any weapons. Carrying a banner that said "guns should be banned." And wearing thin white T-shirts so it is obvious they are not packing any.

At any point, they could sign a petition to restore the 2nd Amendment rights to all citizens of the USA, and that would buy their safety. Or they could walk the entire ten miles unarmed, or, if they are male, they can send their wives and daughters on the gauntlet, unarmed.

Disarmament. It's only cool when it's not YOUR family that's in danger. Right, gun-grabbers?

The hollow point rounds were insanely cool to watch.

Overall I found this video extremely fascinating but clearly indicative of why Vanu light beams are better
