I imagine like many other games, improves firing accuracy. Probably only initially, but a tighter spread of the initial burst of fire would help immeasurably. Might also point out cloakers too. Red dots don't typically stop on thin air.

It's a game, they can set a minimal size value regardless of the range of the target But if we have cross hairs by default, then it really just becomes a weapon buff of some kind that tips off those we're aiming at they're about to be shot with extreme prejudice.

Almost all screenies of TR stuff are during the sunset. I think it's symbolic. As in, the sun is setting on the Terran Republic.

Looking through your Planetside 2 pics the UI is looking rather slick this time around. The UI on Planetside was one of my main problems with it and the new map that was added due to the bending was the worst looking thing in history. So far it is all looking really great and modern, which I was worried about because SOE aren't known for good UIs.
The graphics are far better than what I thought they'd be too, I'm still not convinced it is final. I reckon you'll take out high resolution textures out for launch and add them back in later like you did with Planetside if remember correctly. Either way I'm all for the gameplay and cannot wait to get these epic battles started. |
