Hello there folks
 New to the community here. I'm a veteran Planetside player only in the sense that I played it for about six months when it came out. But that doesn't keep me from having some very fond memories of the game and the unique type of warfare tactics found there that I haven't seen recreated in any game since. I'm eager for PS2 and hope to recapture that magic from the first game. I plan/hope to play it a bit more seriously this time around... Which brings me to the fact that I'll need an outfit! For me as a player, what you need to know is that I'm the support guy. You will absolutely not see me on top of any game's K/D ratio (unless I hit that oh-so-elusive "zone") but you will see me doing my best to support the rest of my team in whatever way the mechanics of the specific game I'm playing allow me to do so. For Planetside that meant I was the driver, the supply runner and the dropship pilot. Those are the sorts of roles I'm happiest doing - facilitating the more skilled shooter players on my team to get in there and bust some heads, while I'll happily heal them or provide ammo or drive them around. I'd ideally like to be involved in a larger outfit, to really dig into the large scale strategic warfare that I miss from PS1. So if any outfit is looking for a mature, calm, level headed guy to be a dedicated support specialist, I could be your man. Good to be here, and looking forward to beta! |
