PS2 ES fighters dwarf their PS1 counterparts. If memory serves the Mossie is about 10-12ft tall and maybe 30ft+ long. Yep. It looks a lot like the NC Sweeper, but with a TR logo. I see what ppl mean by it being reminiscent of Searhus. Bright, sunny, hilly savannah. Yep, Searhus. Or the east side of it anyway. Looks kinda like the hills around Onatha on Amerish, too. I do hope the vehicle selection screen shows up on the actual in-game screen at the terminal instead of filling up your whole monitor, though. It's little things like that where it feels like you're actually interacting with things in the game world that really add to the immersion factor. Luv it! I also hope we get control of the aircraft immediately to cut down on pad camping a bit. Last edited by Erendil; 2012-02-14 at 06:16 AM. |

Yeah, this screenshot feels a lot like PlanetSide. Firstly the trees above the base's walkways, secondly the whole sunny-day temperature feel like Cyssor or Searhus, then we've got a mossie parked on a spawn/landing pad like it's waiting patiently for its owner.
That's classic PS1, like when at a base that's reasonably near the action (has a few people wandering around getting ready to go in to battle) but is fairly quiet and not in the battle. |

Well, yes it would look better. But that'd be forgetting the MAX week. Then will come the classes week. ...Customisation week. ......Continents week. .........Get ready for beta week. .............Easter vacations couple of weeks. ..................."So, where were we?" week. .............................."Oh right, beta!" week. .......................................Nevermind, more background week. And so on Last edited by Sabrak; 2012-02-14 at 12:05 PM. |
