I like it, i think nostalgia is making me want my old Pulsar more than anything. The new one fits with the VS's design theme. layered interlaced shell structure, with jagged edges and more than anything FUTURISTIC appeal.
The old one was abit curvey, and looked kindof like a insect sprayer, or a pressure washer. Personally im hoping VS have really different weapon types. Im really hoping there is a rifle that does a sustained beam. Maybe the Lasher is turned into that type of weapon, and deals more damage the longer the beam is on a single target (degrading armour/sheilds), rewarding accuracy. I would love a wave of Lasher users shooting sustained beams like the frigging Ghostbusters assaulting you. I suggest the new Lasher be called "The Venkman". |

I was thinking more along the line of the Sonic Rifle that Alliance security forces used in FireFly.
I agree tho. I never did like the old design. This new one looks much better. The stock still looks too short tho. :P |

I find this design a lot more appealing than the Pulsar of yore. My guess is that the other model (the one we all know from PS1) is now a carbine for the engineer.
This screenshot from weeks ago really sold me on this design (although it was tweaked slightly). Last edited by Oryon22; 2012-02-24 at 07:54 PM. |

Oh well, we can't please everyone. If you can articulate what it is you dont like about it, maybe an option can be created that you'll like? You do realize that this is just one variation of the Pulsar |

Is the variant in this shot perhaps a "rifle" variant of it? If so, that would make me very happy |

It looks like it's just not finished :/
The angles are wrong, imo It's supposed to be a rifle yet it looks like a spacehouse I really, really love ps but
