I'm starting up with a handful of folks from DAOC.

First time I mentioned PS, everyone was like "wow you're gonna play that too?" Seems like everyone knew about it but no one had talked about it.

Already put together a small outfit of myself and 6 friends. Trying to contact another guy, good griefing gorshedness, you should see him on Halo. Jump off cliff in Blood Gulch with sniper rifle-two guys dead before he hits the ground. Unreal Tournament/Championship, too. Not to bring up other games or anything. He'd be limited by no headshots, but still...

I told everyone that I know is semi-interested in games. Most of them don't really care, so it will probabaly be me and my friend jsut wrecking havock and creating distractions. We work good together. We can basically do anything yu want us too, rofl. And we will do it. trust me.

I have no idea why Sony isn't advertising more. You KNOW they can afford it. A lot more people would be interested in the game if they just saw a few clips.

I still remember all the BS hype about metal Gear solid for the plastation (sorry its the only example I can think of)

That game was so over hyped when I played it I almost cried, what I pile of Sh!t.

I'll agree that PS has been kept quite, maybe a little too quite, but its gonna be like the EQ launch, no one payed much attention to untill the day of the launch. there was such a jump in the number of people online it brought an ISP down if I recall.
PS should crush a few unprepaired ISPs too, just not in my area....

Both Metal Gear Solids were good, they just weren't very game-ish...I liked 'em, kind of like a decent movie and a decent game combined to make a good gamovie (mm...made up word).

Edit: sleeper hits suck because no one believes you that they're going to pwn until they come out, and then when they do come out and pwn no one wants to hear the "I told you so" that will inevitably come from my mouth.

It does have auto-aim, but not when zoomed in with the sniper rifle.
