Point is, the aircraft we saw in the PS2 demo didn't control or do anything inherently different that would make them anymore difficult to hit than their previous incarnation in PS1. I know it was a very early alpha and things are subject to change, but it seems a little weak to completely axe a weapon because some people can't aim with the Lancer, but I guess that's where specializing your weapon to your preference comes in to play. |

The new aircraft are far more agile and dump their payloads much faster. Sure you could pick them out of the sky at range but the lancer wouldn't be able to offer much protection for you if they're hanging out on the ground and using cover properly
Also remember that TTKs are dropped meaning that charge time just got a lot more unhealthy. Regardless I'd like to see it ingame as well. Maybe tweaked a bit, lower the ammo per mag, up the damage. That sort of thing.
