2nd Chapter Continued from Eclipse of a Dark Night
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Morning came, and the sun's shining lights brightened Shiraz's room. He woke up, caught a glimpse of the round object, then pulled his head to the left. The brightness seemed like thorns piercing his purple eyes. He stared at the clock for a while, then stood up and ran to his bathroom. It was 8:19, 11 minutes away from De-briefing. Shiraz ran in his heavy armor towards the De-briefing room, 100 levels below his apartment. He open the door and was surprised to see his fellow squadmates being "lectured" by the commander. Shiraz bowed and sat in front , listening with excitement. "All right boys, today, the real crusade begins. We shall embark to Gunuku Dropship Center. Spies have reported a 20-men strong army of New Conglemerates defending the Center. You mission, drop down from the Galaxies and annihilate the opposing forces. Once done, take control of the center, and establish a defense perimeter. That is all, move out," the commander briefed us with a deep voice. We all stood up and went to our respective places. 15 minutes to loading... Meanwhile.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A dark shadow appeared in front of the New Conglemerate General, Valis. The shadow smiled and bowed.... "So, how was it. Were you successful?" the General said. "Yes M'lord. The Vanus have succeeded in taking over Honsi. The Terrans have also taken over Kaang. A trusted informer has told me that the Terrans and Vanus will be coming to Gunuku today. Hehehe....you are a true genius m'lord. 'll be going now," the dark shadow disappeared in the shadows of the General's room. "Hmhm...muahaha! Prepare to die foolish people. The time of NC's awakening has arrived. After today, our chances of winning will be doubled!Muahaha...hahaha!!" the General turned his chair to face the sun. A new day has arrived. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TO BE CONTINUED in Part 2 of Chapter 2 : Brothers In Arms Hope you like it. Chapter 1 is meant to be enjoyed only through movie. I'm not good at writing but well hope u like these.

Part 2: Brothers In Arms ( Shiraz view )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our 3 galaxies flew at maximum speed towards Gunuku. I was clutching my fists tightly and checked my new Quasar over and over, just to make sure there would be no jams later on. We we close to Gunuku, about 100 meters away. The pilots began opening the ramps and were ready to let us go. Just then, rockets from what I believed was from Phoenixes went pass my Galaxy. I looked through the windows and saw the second galaxy being hit. The soldiers inside were thrown out of the Galaxy. They fell downwards, hopefully their kinetic dampeners worked. The hit Galaxy just went down and explodeded right at Gunuku. I knew something was wrong... We jumped downward, plunging fast towards Gunuku. One of the NC's rockets hit one of us, and the explosion forced some of us to go down even faster. The kinetic dampeners wouldn't work if the speed was above the normal speed. 2 down, and 28 alive....This was going to be hard. Once we landed, we organised and began attacking the enemies, a total of 5 of them. I went up the ramp and managed to kill the Phoenix carrier. The battle was a breeze. Wait, it was too easy. This was too easy. Where are the 20 NCs? Just then, I heard noises of Galaxies coming towards Gunuku. I thought back-up was coming, I was wrong. The Galaxies....they were red...with the Terran logo on them. " Terrans!!! Shoot at them people," commanded our commander. We kept firing at the Galaxies, and then the Terrans dropping down towards ground. But we were caught unprepared. The Terrans countered back at us, and a new battle began. I jumpjetted down towards the center of the field. It was chaos everywhere I saw. Bullets flew with lightning speed, piercing through our armors. In turn our lazers pierced the enemies too. Why were they here? I was confused with everything. Was this a trap? I wasn't sure, but I was given the answer straight away. The ground shook and trembled. Some parts of the ground rose upwards, and the dirt and dusts blinded all of us. I looked around and saw the strangest thing I've ever seen. Tens of Vanguards and NC soldiers came out from the ground. Just then, memories of the Honsi battle, the sniper who saved me, and this, came back. That's it! The NCs wanted both of us to kill each other, and then they would finish us and capture the commanders. If they managed to capture our commander, our morale would drop and Cyssor would be lost to the enemies' hand. All Hell broke lose.... The Vanguards shot madly at us, blowing us off our feet. I jumpjetted away, but the explosion pushed me even further. The Terrans seemed to be attacking the NCs, so were our forces. I saw an NC shooting at a Terran, and I killed him with my mighty Quasar. The Terran, confused, looked at me and smiled. He seemed to be giving a command to his fellow soldiers, and they all nodded and began to shoot at the NCs. The Terran smiled, and I smiled back. I shouted at our forces to cease fire at the Terrans and start shooting at the NCs. Two against one giant army. I wondered if we could win even with the Terrans' help....I wondered. My squadmates died one after another. The commander managed to shoot from a safe place and survived. I was at the middle of the battlefield. I kept shooting at the NCs, and suddenly a Vanguard moved towards me. I JJted away, but the Vanguard managed to hit me. I was forced back 80 meters away. My armor was broken, my body seemed to be dead. Was it all over? Our combined forces kept pressuring the NCs. We killed every last of them. But the casualties was so high. Only the commander and I were the only survivors, along with 10 Terrans.My body was numb and I couldn't move.I stared at the blazing sun, and suddenly it disappeared, blocked by a figure. The Terran grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I pulled my Quasar up and tried to shoot, but alas, the Quasar was gone.I stared at the Terrans....thinking that this was it. But the Terran just shook my hand, bowed and left to board their Galaxy. I was left alone....in the middle of the field... . All my friends, all dead, all torn apart. The commander...he was safe...that jerk. He came to me and patted my back. I stared at a body of a Terran, then grabbed the Cycler. I stared at the commander. I saw fear etched in his mind and his eyes, those eyes, those pitiful and scared eyes. I pulled the trigger and began releasing hundreds of bullets at him. He was pushed back 5 meters and then fell on the ground. I threw the gun on the ground. Who cared about him anyway. We need competent leader, not this jerk. Anyways, my vision blurred, and then....and then I fell. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I woke up, staring at the Vanus around me. I was on the bed in the Vanu National Hospital. I grabbed my head, and began to remember the incidents, the battles. My fellow Vanus began cheering and clapped their hands. General Shadiz walked towards my bed. He was holding a medal, and a badge. He spoke to me.... "Son, I am sorry for what has happened in Gunuku. Don't worry, we've taken care of everything. Gunuku's ours finally. i know you lost all of your friends, but your bravery was to be recognised. I give you this, medal of honor, and the badge of commandment. From now on, you are the leader of Platoon Alpha. Congratulations. Sleep for now my son, we have lots to talk about," the commander said in a loud voice, as if wanting everyone to know. Everyone cheered loudly, and then patted my back and left the ward. I stared through the windows, at the sun, at the brightness. War was coming, I could tell. But, for now, I would have to rest...rest....re.....s......t ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TO BE ENDED in Dawn of a New Age - The Shiraz Trilogy Other Trilogies to be written: The 3rd Division ( Terran) Freedom Force ( NC ) The Man Called Nameless ( Vanu ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well that sums it all up. 3rd Division will be right after Dawn of a New Age. It uses a mix of logs system and the way Shiraz is written. 3rd Division is about a group of exiled Terran soldiers who protested against the army's plans to massacre the Vanus, including women and children. How will this group survive the harsh life in the wilderness? How will they find hope and seek the truth to all the conspiracies and wars? Freedom Force is about the NCs fight for freedom. This will mainly use the Shiraz system, with a combination of empire changing and different points of views. The man called Nameless is about a long-forgotten Vanu soldier who was deserted during a battle against the NCs. Now he's back, deadlier than ever, armed with his trusty sniper and his cloaking devices. What will happen next?
