Upgrading is important

No i'm not talking about upgrading your PC for PS although that is indeed important.

I'm talking about a lovely program called ad-aware. I never though upgrading your software version was that important but i just ran ad-aware 5.6, it got about 10 spy wares, downloading 6.0 and ran it again, 6.0 got 282.

Never underestimate an upgrade!

I DEFINITELY recommend this program. On my old PC, the first time I ran it, I had a ridiculous number of spyware programs. It was one of the very first things I downloaded on my new PC.

Not only ressources but also time and pain. Some spy-wares keep pissing me off, mostly the ones that add a tool bar to your IE without any notice.

Works machine totally clean under 5.83, its now found 54 objects

Most of them are cookies, couple of exes.

Noticed that 6.0 seems to run faster too.

Home machine is running 5.8! Wonder what I will find when I get home and run 6.0!

OOOH theres a new reference file update, gonna re-run it against that and see whats new!

Holy shit, with the new reference file 04.03.2003 its found an additional 33 new objects!

I recommend you upgrade your reference files by hitting the Check for updates now button in the status bar at the bottom
