Re: Neil deGrasse Tyson - We Stopped Dreaming

I love using the supporting kony 2012 troll on League of Legends.

As for who is paying for this? Well the USA tax payers...practically 1 cent of US $1 will do a lot.

As for being a stupid idea?...Well no....Nasa has advance our world a whole lot...in fact the cost are worth it because of the knowledge we would gain.

IMO way better than trying to find that kony guy.

The problem isn't the dream. The dream is still reachable. Tomorrow can come.

The problem is with the selling of the dream. Take the dream to Manhattan, to the advertisers and have them create a worldwide campaign for space exploration. When you get corporations to buy into the fact that it's going to be making them $$ to send people to Mars, you will see a resurgence in the space program.

Make space profitable, and we will go to Mars tomorrow.

But it was profitable when the government runned it.....I mean think about all the opportunities NASA/Soviet Union run space program created....Satellites, how much we depend on them today and it was all because of the government run programs.

What Im trying to say is that the governement and people should realize how much they help and give money out their own pockets.

Corporations...Im not sure if they will take the risk, I really think at this point in time you need large enough funds like that of governments to make it work.

The obvious solution would be to elect Newt Gingrich for President. You'll be living in moon bases by 2020!

I wish...but obvious politician is obvious.

That guy would've done anything to get Florida's vote.
