Coming back to PS1 for a bit while we wait

I'm an old PS1 player. Started back in 06 I believe. Played off and on since then. Been following planetside 2 since it's appearance on the internet. I have my beta key, I'm ready to go, but I can't stand the wait anymore and I miss planetside 1. I know the populations may be low, but I'd like to drive around a bit or hopefully play a few good rounds at an outpost or 2.

So here's my thread asking for some welcome from anyone who plays PS1 currently, or any outfits who wouldn't mind letting a hitch hiker join up with em to remember the good old days while we all wait for beta.

Or we can let this thread turn into a "Back in the good old days" thread if it must

At the moment I am installing planetside 1. Its been so long since I've played that my allegiances are fuzzy. So I'm easily persuaded to any faction

If your NC and from USA blue lions does great ops.

If ya Tr and from euro BRTD is good

VS there's A few big outits but don't no much about them.

Hope this helps, planetside 1 still good, I find in euro daytime it's small fights and euro night time starts picking up and USA prime time is full on big battle 100v100v100+ and weekends is good to.

Unfortunately the account that I got my free 45 days on is an OLD trial account from 07ish. My highest level guy is BR6. NC. Had some fun last night taking over some outposts and getting killed more times than I can count by chain guns

If youre looking for an NC outfit:

I can directly recommend Praetorian Guard, hit up either PGxNeoAngelo, or PGxMitch, tell em Arby sent you. They run a few squads a night and are nicely organized.

If youre more into a tight knit crew it may also be worth looking into Dark Fire Company lead by Comron, a brit, so he's a bit silly, but DFC have good people and theyll do right by you as well

The Blue Lions are a good outfit, and are on the same lines as the VS outfits AzureTilight and GOTR.

Now if you go TR, and join BRTD, be warned they are a little rough around the edges than the above USA based outfits, but really good fun!

All of the above can pull big squads and full platoons, and all have great ops!
