That is actually a very capable use of a Galaxy. As one of the resident fanatical Galaxy pilots, I know a lot of the use and can see a lot more in PS2.

A Galaxy will generally drop its soldiers from the sky, and with some certs, they will be FIRED from the sky at the ground protected by a drop pod at super high speeds.

For your thought, it is quite possible a Galaxy would be called into Infantry vs Infantry situations, using its super heavy armor and multiple crewed guns to deal with the threat before changing objectives. Nothing short of a barrage of heavy missiles will down the Galaxy.

I would absolutely be open to the idea of allowing greater armor or weaponry as a sidegrade to dampners/pods to create huey/blackhawk deployment/extractions rather than the traditional hotdrop scenario as a bit of an optional change in dropship playstyle!

Oh hell yes! Not to mention, I want the ability to change out bailing certs for something else so I can use skill to low drop some outfit troops who train for such a special drop!

Also I wanna see people who refuse my services to go "splat". Will teach them to use a noob pilot.

I would also like some gal drops but not in drop pods, that would get boring after a while, whats more fun is flying full speed then pulling up at the last second and everyone bails out and hopefully survives.
