Beta Character limit?

Just a quick question if anyone knows, will players be limited to just one character in beta or will they able to create multiple characters to test all 3 factions?

otherwise we gonna all need 3 beta keys! or admin empire swapping
this is only for beta use not live game

I imagine they'll solve this problem by simply letting in enough people to have each faction full all the time. I mean, they've been handing out Beta keys and taking website signups since March so they must've gotten quite a few e-mails by now.

Remember, beta (especially closed beta) isn't a "free trial" of the game. It's a stage in the development process where we, the community help the developers iron out the bugs and balance the gameplay.

with the train only 1 char at a time feature (mentioned in a few other videos), i cant see alts being all that useful, it may even be wiser to have a spare account to use as an off-spec.

I personally would like some kind of option in game to try out other factions however I think alts would ruin the whole faction loyalty aspect of the game. But as someone still trying to decide where my loyalty lies it makes that inital decision harder

I think faction loyalty is going to win out once the numbers get large enough and I don't think that is going to take long. Once that time comes, I would be willing to bet that some people will be testing their favorite empire a tad more than the others.
