There is also still a stream tomorrow but I don't think they would announce anything through totalbiscuit or in a live stream.

They have a spot with IGN tomorrow coming up, thats a big site. Maybe more spots with other outlets I'm not sure. So to say an announcement of sorts is out of the question at this point is silly.

Either way all the footage and the awesome trailer sure didn't let me down and there is more tomorrow!!!

Higby defined "couple months" as sometime in the next ten years, so "couple weeks" is what, sometime in the next three years? I'll start getting excited when they scale down to "couple hours"

right now a "couple weeks" till closed beta and then another "couple weeks" for open beta still gives me a window of anything between the end of june and christmas.

Since they got so many award nominees, they are probably saving the big announcement for the awards ceremony at this point, if there is to be a big announcement. That will probably give them the most publicity.

I assume they want a winter release, which winter btw occurs to be the "best" winter in long time - no BF or COD around this time (noone mentions FailOps 2). Winter + Spring are the bigest selling periods and aparently winter comes first. Let's say November as release month.

So, if we assume they want 3 months beta testing, exlcuding November (last month is always Gold phase), then the beta should begin in the start of August.

i could be wrong, but i think a releasedate set in a specific period ( winter for x-mas for ex ) doesnt really apply that much to a F2P game, since it doesnt hit the players where it hurts most ( in their wallet )

ie. they wont have to choose between for ex cod or bf because these both cost money wich not everyone has loads of.
ps2 is free , so anyone can play as long as they have a pc.
this partially negates the rush to make a winter/summer launch imho.
