I am dreading the day invites go out. It seems like a significant amount of people believe that all PS1 players will get in at roughly the same time. Practically impossible. I am foreseeing seas of threads whining about "I am a PS1 vet how come someone who bought Game Informer got in before me? Higby you promised!!!!"

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but I (PS1 vet) have Planetside 2 in my game subscription list on SOE.com... Is it possible they may have already flagged the PS1 vets' accounts for beta?

IGN broadcast, just before end of the 10 mins, MH said starting to let people in beta in a few weeks, basically repeated what he said in the video in the first post of this thread

Ah It is so hard not get overly apprehensive about being left out of this game. I can't wait. I'll admit I posted a complaint on facebook, then deleted it the next day. Get it together man. It's just a game. lol. No. It's TR for life!

Ready for beta to start. Havent wanted one to get underway so much since the original Planetsides open beta and watching the mail every day waiting for the discs to arrive.

Any PS1 vets have this for their PS2 status? I am a vet, and signed up for the PS2 beta but mine shows up as inactive. My other account (which has the PCG beta code) shows PS2 as active.

Yeah, I'm a PS1 vet and it says PS2 is inactive. It's already been put out that vet accounts are going to be autoflagged and will be activated before beta.

i cant believe beta starts literally when i wont be able to play it for a month -_- i guess my invite just sits there in my emails untill i answer it? what if the closed beta ends when i return?

So the best clarification we have is "In the next few weeks we will actually start letting trickles of folks in".
Still more vague that I would prefer...solid dates would be nice, and the way this is worded it could mean "after a few weeks" ie next month, or it could be as early as next monday. =/

Unless there's something else I missed.
