Hi folks,
after two posts it was probably time for a proper introduction, so "Hi there, hello everybody".
Last time I logged in to Planetside was like 2007, and I'm totally excited to see Planetside 2 finally nearing beta.
Still somewhat undecided on what faction to actually play this time. (But that just demonstrates what a great job they did with faction design this time around.
)
- VS: Well, they at least have an "underdog" bonus going for them...
- TR: Really nice lore this time. And they appear to have a nice focus on organized squad play. And of course some stylish weapons. (Heck, who doesn't like minichainguns and burst AA cannons?
)
- NC: Best colors. Best looking armor and vehicle design. And at least one great outfit.
Might also be the faction that plays closes to a modern tactical shooter (high damage, recoil matters)?
