Definitely the night battles. Considering I'll be playing VS, it will look awesome when I shoot my Lasher down a dark hallway and light up everyone with it lol.

Having played mostly as a sniper in PS1, I'm looking forward to being a true scout in the game.

One thing I liked in America's Army when it first came out was how close the M-16 rifle range is to the real thing in the Army. You are taught proper marksmanship, including how to properly breathe when you shoot. Same goes in the sniper school. When you put up your iron sights or the sniper scope, you have to fire when you exhale. Just like you would in real life.

In Day 3 of TotalBiscuit's stream, they showed a sniper and Clegg saying you can use the shift key to control your breathing, just like any marksman would do. I can't wait for that.

I'm looking forward to SMGs, which are really fun in close quarters combat.

Actually at the range they tell people not to focus so much on shooting on exhale anymore because they found people were focused so much on breathing that they were missing shots. Now they pretty much tell you to find a rythm that works for you. (*Points at shiny greygreenyellow ribbon thingy with a decoration*)

The same thing as PS1..... gunning down people who take the game too seriously.

My number 1 thing is going to be laughing at all the "veteran" players die over and over while going ADADADADADADADADADA to try to trick the old hitscan system. To every one that does that I want you to know you ruined the first planetside for me and I hope you die in a car crash for being a cheating gamer.
My coffee is now soaking into my jeans. Great opening post!
Now to read the thread......

OK, rolling in a fully-crewed magrider column that has a mix of AV, AA and AI secondaries. Strafing Vannies and Prowlers with my gunner shouting instructions in my ear. Watching our air cover hold off the AV attacks of the enemy's air vehicles. Drool!

Me?

But... comrade...

I'm mostly looking forward to fighting in a sunsetty or dawny time since the screenshots looked amazing so far.

I'm also hoping for many interesting landscapes to fight on.

And of course I would like to feel real squad-based teamwork again, not this fast paced pseudo teamwork BF3 is trying to give me.

Hitting the ground hard from a drop pod, and wading over to the first base.

It's going to be good to be home.

Hunting lone wolf sniper elites.

Killing aircav with my burster. Or skyguard. Either one works, so long as aircav dies a painful death.
