At E3 there was a Higby interview where he kinda dropped that bomb; can't remember if it was gameinformer or ign or what but it's in the tubes somewhere.

Meh, it wasn't a bad interview. I am glad to hear that platoons have been confirmed.

I'm ambivalent about platoons. On the one hand, I don't actively dislike them. On the other, I continue to hope that the mission system really makes them unnecessary and even superfluous by being that awesome a way to coordinate multiple squads.

I really love the dynamic Higby, T-Ray, and Hackney offer Planetside media relations, as it were. They each have their own unique mood they bring to interviews and talking about the game, and it makes it really easy to watch lots of interviews because of that. Higby brings this enthusiasm and energy whenever he talks about the game; Tramell is always the epitome of cool confidence; and Hackney just always carries this really vibe of focused intensity to me. It's easy to see why the team is so dynamic and productive, with leadership like that.

I'm interested to see how towers work out in Planetside2, king of the hill style objective seems fitting for them.
