I guess I'm another new guy

Hello PSU community, my name is JoeBro!

Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself, looks like a good community! I've been following this game for a while sometime after BF3 was released and I'm very excited! I'm not here to mope about BF3 but all I can say is it was a big disappointment. Just like the rest of you, my patience can barely hold and PS2 seems to be the perfect FPS game I've been looking for my whole life. I've already got a beta key and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all on the battlefield!

I'm not a PS vet, so I'm not sure what side I'm going to pick. I'll suppose I'll try all 3 to see which I'm most comfortable playing with. I like to consider myself a well rounded PC gamer. I play RTS, most types of RPGs, and a history in MMOs (Currently EVE Online). FPS games are my strong suit though, I like to shoot people. From an FPS standpoint and as well as competitive, I come from the Battlefield series (started from BF2 to be exact) and I like playing FPS games with a more strategic sense with teamwork involved, very much like Project Reality mod for BF2, ARMA II, or CS Source. On occasions I will play a few rounds of COD 4 so I can keep my shooting and awareness skills sharp, but alas I am no annoying COD kid. I hope to see Planetside 2 become my main shooter, because I have pretty much abandoned BF3 on account of how bad it has become.

Currently I'm still in my BF3 clan (From FIST, merged into DBD) and staying just for friends, but I'll probably leave and join a PS2 clan. Right now I'm looking for a good, large PS2 clan; Preferably one that comes from PS1, dedicated, professional, and well disciplined. In the outfit recruitment forum I see some clans I might be interested, but I'm not sure what faction will be best for me.

Outside world, I'm 20 and soon to be joining the Marines. Hoorah.
