- TTK is perfect for infantry, but alittle to high for MAX's and tanks.
- Vehicles are far too squishy I don't think the flash's should explode just from hitting a rock because they're "Fast but Delicate". - Don't want quick knifing whatsoever, it needs to be equip-able, but I don't think grenades need to be equipped. - MAX's speed is perfect, it is a mech exoskeleton after all, its meant to increase speed and strength. - The explosion size's were great and the smoke they left was realistic. Plus on a desert continent I think sand added to the effect. I remember somewhere in an interview they mentioned that they had created many different terrains and how everything reacts uniquely to each terrain, that might include explosions to sand. Either way I think it was just right.
- Not sure how the engineer and medic repair/heal beams will work out. But, again, won't know for sure until beta I remember that part, crazy maneuverability! That and seeing the drop pod take out the Liberator had to be my favourite parts! Last edited by lMABl; 2012-06-14 at 11:51 AM. |

What I'm hoping to see.
- Slightly longer rez timer. - Limited ammo boxes - No regenerating health, only regenerating shield. (In the E3 version, both shield and health regened) - Vehicles (Mainly tanks) seem too easily killed. Not enough armor I think. Probably my biggest issues. |

As far as TTK goes it seems fine for the infantry, Way to low for the main battle tanks and maybe a bit to high for maxes. (It was hard to tell from the E3 footage but it looked like it took around 50 hits from a light assault.) |

Explosions need to be changed imo. They seemed abit too big and seemed to last for abit too long which meant after a while they lost their "coolness" and became rather annoying. I think the damage done by terrain needs to be slightly altered but not too much, ofcourse if you drive a lightly armoured vehicle like a Flash at speed into a rock then you expect to die, however tanks did seem to take a decent amount of damage from terrain even at low speeds.. They could also solve this and the problem of tanks dying very easily by increasing their armour. After all, these are supposed to be feared battle machines that are designed to take blow after blow and keep fighting. |

One other thing that kind of bothered me. All of the vehicles, when they blew up, would leave wrecks. Great. Those wrecks would break into chunks, sometimes. Also great.
However, the blackened hulks and chunks ended up feeling very repetitive. Now, I realize that you need to have the chunks be the same for everybody, so this isn't fodder for advanced PhysX calculations or some such, but... I think having more than one version of the break lines for each vehicle would be a huge help... in addition to the server saying "piece 1 falls this way, piece 2 gets launched that way, ..." you also have a simple "vehicle breaks into chunk set 3" to add. Finally, I hope the blackened texture gets replaced by an effect where the existing textures (remember, customization!) get char applied to them. This can happen locally, as the pattern of burn marks and whatnot isn't a gameplay element like the shape and position of the wreckage that can be used as cover. So I'd love to see some awesome shader work going on, there, to give us some variety and see some of the old paint jobs show through and whatnot. |

Absolutely keep the explosions and muzzle flashes the way they are. I hate most video game effects because they are entirely underwhelming. People have gotten way used to dulled down mediocre effects in movies and games. Reall explosions from shell fire and bombs are loud and big. I like that PS2 finally captures the intensity of war with serious effects and not that piddly crap every other game has.
