Systems: Chat Channels

In PlanetSide Original there were a number of channels to be used:

Local
Squad
Squad Leader
Platoon
Outfit
Command (CR2, 3, 4, 5)
Broadcast
Continental Broadcast (CR5pam)
Global Broadcast (CR5pam)
Situation Report (Sends messages to next higher command rank)
Whisper

Now in PlanetSide Next, we know that CR won't be making a return, at least in the same vein as in PlanetSide Original. So here are my chat channel proposals (maybe with a parallel VOIP channel?):

Local
Broadcast (owned hexes and adjoining owned hexes)
Squad
Platoon
Leader (all friendly Squad, Platoon, and Outfit Leaders)
Outfit
Command (Outfit Leader channel)
Situation Report (Players use this channel to broadcast to the players in the Leader channel)
Whisper
