I thought I'd drop by and say hello

I'm not one to do this but I'll do it anyway.
I've played a variety of games over the years in almost every genre, from heavy strategy games to a variety of FPS games. I've put up with raging 10 year olds on CoD (good thing there's a mute function) to the pinnacle I've seen of teamwork: Project Reality (a mod of BF2). Of course there were terrible squads but the most fun was having a full squad of random people showing excellent teamwork, communication, and having ****loads of fun.
I love my strategy games to, just that I don't do nearly as well with them as with FPS. But I especially enjoyed Company of Heroes, Civ III, and Hearts of Iron 3. I have Civ V but uhhhhhhh... definitely not worth how much I paid for it.
Anyways to be honest, I didn't even know about this game until a few months ago. I get Game Informer and in section they had on upcoming free-to-play games they had Planetside 2... in the bottom corner with a wee little paragraph about it. It was enough to make me search it and when I did I thought I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
It was the game I always wanted but never could find. Now I sit here and soak up every little thing SOE hands out, wait for beta, and repetitively click the download button that I know doesn't work but gives me a small sense of accomplishment.
