Station Cash July 4th and PS2

I currently do not subscribe or play any SOE games but I will be purchasing camos ect for PS2 when it is released.

If I purchase the Sony cash on July 4th to get the double deal, can I save it and then use it when PS2 is released? Or does it expire? Or is PS2 not using Sony cash?

Anyone know?

If PS2 doesn't use SC, many of us will be Occupying SOE. It doesn't expire.
