Question about looting

I was wondering about looting. Will players leave behind everything when they die, guns and all? And if so, will players from other empires be able to pick up empire-specific guns off of dead players?

You of course need to hack an enemy vehicle to convert it to your side, though. And I tend to doubt you'll find many enemy vehicles simply lying about.

its easy to find a enemy vehicle with no one in it just kill the driver or whoever is in it. they where talking about if your a good shot you can kill ppl out of vehicle s

The repeater is a nice looking pistol.

......Ummm. Well the Repeater does look pretty nice. But that has nothing to do with it.

The Repeater is simply the best hand gun there is. For range, ammo, and damage.

And I even say that, being a loyal NC.

Ok, I'm not 100% then. But reading about the different hand guns. It's seems to be the best balenced.

There is no "best" handgun. Each excels at different things. The NC handgun is superior up close to the Repeater (as is the AMP), while the Repeater is (obviously) better at a longer range than the other two. So a MAG-Scatter is better for indoor combat, while a Repeater is better for outdoors.

And the VS pistol is an accurate laser gun with an alternate fire mode that shoots armor-peircing beams, which works nicely against vehicles, although it wouldn't be my first choice against a tank.
