Yes, please play as that type of infiltrator. That way we don't have to worry about you single handedly screwing up all our defenses by taking out generators and hacking points unseen, cause your too busy killing some poor sap for giggles. :P

Unless they are hiding them they can't do it in the current build. They have 4x, 7x, 8x, 10x, and 12x.

Not sure if this has been confirmed or not, been hoping around the forum to no prevail; kind of the opposite of whats being asked by the OP - but does anybody know if we're able to use a sniper rifle without being a cloaker? Opposed to the OP - I love sniping, but hate cloaking, granted I don't have the slightest clue what the pros and cons of cloaking are this time around. Biggest worry is one shot kills on cloakers due to lack of armor, if any.

Nothing confirmed so far that I know of, and I wouldn't hold my breath. Their thoughts are if you aren't using the cloak to get in close then you are using it to act as camouflage (which actually sounds awesome). Take a shot or two, cloak and relocate, the range should make it incredibly difficult to see you, even with the weakest cloak. I know there are also shield upgrades but I doubt it's going to make you medium armor strong or anything.

O.o

Stealth is a snipers best armor......

Start taking fire, cloak and bug out. Find a new position and resume.

What's the point of dropping the cert system, adopting the class system, if the devs are just going to emulate the exact same builds we had with the cert system?

So you don't have to re-cert each time your done with one build and want to try another.
