Sweet indeed, what screens are you running with?

Eyefinity is great when it is supported, if it works well in PS2 I might upgrade my current 3x23".

New thin bezel screens are coming: LG ISP277L

How much do you think for that? Perfect for 3 way setups, but its going to cost a good amount I bet.

Damn..you already ordered. Was going to tell you consider Seasonic for your power supply. They are more expensive, but probably the highest quality PS you can buy. Also, if you really want to amuse yourself, pickup a Zalman ZM-MFC2 or MFC3. You can then proceed to learn that your 1200W powersupply is 2X more than you really need.

I recommend having the same just due to lining everything up better. Besides most people doing this probably are buying all new monitors. I would anyway.

That's more and more true all the time. For a while GPU's were going power hog...but we've stepped down at least two nodes since nVidia's leap to unified shaders...which was the really big jump in transistor count.

Desktop CPU's have also trended downward, or stayed the same.

Yea, the PS oem's love to push overkill onto the general public. Ideally I like to have 20~30% headroom on my PSU vs my maximum system draw. As the capacitors age rumor has it you can lose up to 20% of the original rated wattage. I am running an 850W, and have never seen my system go over 475W draw, and that number is at the wall after PS losses (about 18% loss).
