I agree with everyone else here. The "futuristic" video posted in the OP pales in comparison to the actual tech demonstration of the google goggles.
AR certainly has potential, but the video had this pointless gaming theme to it that just made it seem annoying. A wasted effort. |

Good lord that was creepy, even before the twist (the whole "staring at a blank wall" thing got me). And this is coming from a technophile who would love full AR to be real instead of the infant attempts we have so far.

So, to avoid such situations potential dates will require a reputable dating site to give them info on someone before they date. It could also offer features such as requiring both of them to sign in to the site while on the date. The site would have a feature that made sure both people were not using programs that the other person didn't want them using. Oh the haxing possibilities!
