well even if stores didn't stock many of the dvd style, i order most games from amazon.com, and i do remember seeing, i think it was baulders gate 2 on dvd when computers started coming with dvd-rom, then they could have more high quality fmv or in game video's if they don't use fmv any more. couldn't they? or maybe they could bundle games with a free movie! i can just see it now

Anyways 3cds and then a hellofalot of data in the patches. I want damn machine pistols and medium machine guns!

I'd like to see DVD games too but we still have a while before enough of the gaming community has it that the companies make it a standard.

I believe I read on the offical site that the size of the game will be like 3.25 GB.

the dvd game thing has been done before, I remember baulders gate and myst on dvd. It was more expensive and not everyone had the drives to support it. Now that a dvd player is really common in most households not to many people even use the dvd-rom in their computer for anything that a normal cdrom cant do. It is a good idea but its going to require alot of people to get a dvdrom.
