It's just a BETA!

I'm sick and tired of the constant whiners that feel some sort of entitlement to test a bit of software. These people seem to think that those who are in the beta are somehow getting to play the game early.

GET A GRIP!

This has been said by SOE to be a proper beta, not a demo. The game will be ridden with bugs. It will probably CTD every so often. The devs will be wanting you to do wierd things to find those bugs - e.g. everyone gets a plane and flies into the nearest building, not explore or play how you want.

The current beta testers are testing the bug-filled version so that you can rock up later on and not have to play with those bugs.

All in all, it's a bunch of coloured dots changing colour. Find a different game. Read a book. Maybe even *gasp* go outside. Grow up. SOE owes you nothing.

I really don't want to see people who had never heard of PS1 until PS2 whining. Again, SOE owes you nothing.

Soon, we can all be playing together on a released game. Until then, stop whining.

EDIT: I'm not in beta. I'm not a PS1 vet either. I found out about this game from the E3 coverage. Go figure.

Don't expect the irrational idiots on this board to attempt to counter your argument. It's funny how much the community went downhill once beta was announced.

That being said, I don't believe this is a legitimate beta. I wouldn't put it on par with the Guild Wars 2 "beta" or Minecraft's, but from what Smed is saying, it's looking more and more like a demo.
