I wasn't implying that at all. All I am saying is that this isn't some deceitful business strategy 10 guys in suits threw together in a smokey meeting room; it was simply one guy acknowledging that because of the way they were doing invites you would be considered a vet even if you just bought the game.

Honestly does buying this at gamyfly or wherever even guarantee beta access? If it does...do you even know in what wave?
By that time the standard beta sign up may have already been sent out. So what would be the point? I only glanced over that twit and I don't recall much. Correct me if I am wrong because I am some what curious. |

Considering I'm one off many people who registered without being a PS1 veteran, and that I don't have a key, my estimation is that I have zero chance of getting into beta before an entire month as passed. After that I only have a slim chance of getting in before Open beta or release happens, which I guesstimate will be in about 3 months.
So I'll be looking in my mailbox on a weekly basis starting in September. Before then it's a waste of time. Unless someone happens to have a spare key they'd be willing to PM to me that it :P |
