It seems like no one is using the word, "Raid"

I'm guessing because either people forgot or they're just new and don't know.

Seems like we've lost a lot of the planetside vernacular.

I hope raid makes a come back, as in, "Raid starting in 5 minutes, warpgate X"

Uggg, only one more month till I get undeployed from this God forsaken country and I can comeback and enjoy "Raids" again.

Heh... WoW raids weren't so bad. If anything, there were a great social experiment and learning experience (though very costly in time). Kinda like how forumside is.

The official streams have referred to raids, but not being in the game currently and not keeping up with most of the other streams/videos I can't say if that's the exception or not.

Honestly, I've never found the term "raid" fitting for what it was used for in PS1, namely a large-scale attack of an empire. The MMORPG ring doesn't help either.

WoW huh? EverQuest should be the only game that gives you "raid" flashbacks...

Actually yeah, I do recall the term 'raid' being used - but I guess I'd disassociated it completely from MMORPGs.
