I hope, that date is tentative predicated upon quality assurance. There is nothing I hate more then a crappy launch. Ask Funcom why its not ok.
The only game that successfully made it through an extremly crappy launch and makes more money then most mmo's out there is WoW. And, we all know the reason for that. |

It seems like semi-confirmation. November/December has clearly been their launch target since before Beta actually started. The Devs at the time also stated that they may push that into 2013 if they need to. The real question is where the Publishers stand. Obviously, they want to make money ASAP (one of several reasons they are offering Alpha Squad), so they are putting pressure on finishing sooner rather than later to keep viability. If it's "close enough" they might push to launch it then even if a few planned features have to be delayed to content patches, just to get the game (and the store) out there.
I don't know enough about SOE to really say if they'd do that or not. All I know is that the Devs are committed to getting it as "finished" as they can before release, and at least initially were willing to delay if need be. Last edited by Flaropri; 2012-09-10 at 05:36 AM. |

It would explain my brother's absence from the real world since 2004. |
