I think so too, Jump-Pads needs to be removed. However Teleportes are needed to get into a Biolab. But there shouldn´t be shielded doors that covers the attacker in the teleporter room. Thats just senseless.

I think the jump pads are bad assed, I think the idea should be expanded on to be able to launch entire squads.

Infantry combat in PS2 is heaps and bounds better than in PS1. You are probably just shit at it.

Gotta disagree with this. Planetside is not a single player game that needs a mini puzzle to capture. The tension is there when you cap an occupied base. How many times I got shot while just sitting next to the terminal. They know exactly where you are, even as infil, they come when the point starts blinking.

No it's not. Because if they where not there 1 engineer could just put up a turret and kill every one as they exit form the teleporter. Now when there are shielded doors on the room you can gather up first before exiting giving you at least a fighting chance to brake the siege of the doors.

I would love to see how long till people started complaining how long it takes to get to the other side of the amp stations without those jump pads.

Teleporters and jump pads need to be removed and replaced with closed in stairwells just like PS1 because that shit would never get camped. It might take a minute to get up into the Biolab but since it's not a teleporter or jump pad, you would have no worries about getting camped at the top.

The game does lack in terms of gameplay. It has no logistics and the interior is lacking cover to an extreme extent. Camping will become an issue as more people become acquainted to the game and as it is know, it will become very boring, very fast.
Cool, so because you are a vet from "fucking 2003" your opinion is allways right?
I also love how you complain about camping like it never happend in PS1 where camping was pretty much the norm.

Some of you want to remain ignorant and get defensive when someone points out major flaws in the game. I am doing it because I know this game can be amazing if the right changes are made. As other members did to sum up my post, the game needs the interior and designs of bases to be edited. I also agree with the member who said a "remember the alamo" epic feelings makes a battle fun. This is true, you feel more rewarded after fighting a hard battle for a base. Give the attackers room and cover to attack, give the defenders a perimeter to defend. Duke, element, lucifarus, predator, timealude agreed mates.

As I said before..

REQUIRE TEAMWORK TO SUCCEED, don't follow the modern shooter trend of lone wolves. Your dedicated fans loved PS1 because of the teamwork aspect and feeling as if you are part of something larger. PS2 is drifting away from this.. and it will be devastating to the game

Loyalty is to the empire, lone wolves ARE part of that empire. I agree with needed feedback to make the game better with the suggestions of perimeters, base defense and such, but you don't think lone wolves want these things also?

Typically the "lone wolf" in PS1 was a support and covert ops person. The type of support that helped the entire empire like setting up AMS spawn points, laying combat engineering equipment with ACEs strategically, transporting vehicles in a Loadstar and providing LS to the battlefield for repair/rearm functions, and repairing base gens/tubes/turrets. Something that wasn't support specific that a lone wolf would do is resecure back hacks.

I guess we need to define loan wolf in this case. Because I don't see how anyone was a true lone wolf in PS1. You still did things to support everyone else in the game, you just typically did it without needing someone else to help you do what you do all the time. But without the rest of the empire making things happen the "lone wolf" had no purpose.

Understood, I was just commenting on Kush's remarks that Lone Wolves have no place in planetside because it's a team game.
