Better Graphics since new continent added?

Have they improved the graphics? Because almost everything looks better. Which is bad.. i want better frame rate, not better graphics. Or if you do improve them, don't improve the low end. Now i have even lower frames then before.

I thought so too but it turned out my settings just reverted to all High. I had to turn a few of the things back down to Medium to improve frame rate.

I didn't notice anything... got everything on high / the textures on ultra.

I've noticed on my Flash that the graphics do look better. I haven't made any setting changes. It may be that they are able to enable/disable certain textures for specific graphics cards. So the in-game graphics settings vary for each player.

I reported this as a bug, has anyone else seen it? My Flash shows a TR logo and red colors when looking at it in first person view while mounted. This is on my NC character.

I haven't noticed a difference. The lower framerates have happened after every majoy patch and they always resolve it with a hotfix.

Honestly Ive had some framerate issues after these patches but they always mention it and fix it.

how do you switch textures to ultra? my rig should be able to handle ultra but it´s not in the menu. can it be activated via ini or cfg modification?

Things did appear to improve overall! Screw FPS, it looks sexy.

Open the useroptions.ini in your gamedirectory and set

TextureQuality=0

It really improves the texture quality. The terrain and some other textures will still look like from planetside 1, but vehicles and playermodels improve a lot.

€: Unless this is considered cheating.. because we are modifying a gamefile for that.... you know?
