So I finally purchased Alpha Squad

I don't know what these weapons are supposed to be like stat-wise, but at least we know what kind of weapon it will be (i.e. not real gameplay-changing weapons like shotguns, heavy weapons or guided missile launchers).

That said Derito, you can pick those up right away by spending some of that 4,000 Station Cash.

Today is a triple SC event. I picked up $10, so with what I had left over from the last triple event and alpha squad, I am heading into PS2 with 10k SC. I hope that's enough!

A. 12 weapon unlocks! One additional weapon for each combat class (per Empire!).

Assault Rifle - Fast rate or fire allows it to output a large of amount of damage in a short period of time, making it very effective at short to medium ranges.
NC - GR-22
TR - Cycler TRV
VS - H-V45
Carbine - Balanced weight and controllable recoil allows the operator to maintain accuracy over automatic fire.
NC - AC-X11
TR - T5
VS - Pulsar C
LMG - Features three fire modes, allowing it to easily adapt to most situations on the battlefield.
NC - EM6 LMG
TR - TMG-50 B
VS - SVA-88
Sniper - Highly accurate and damaging at long range.
NC - LA80
TR - SR-7
VS - V10

Carbines are used by Engineers, Light Assault
Assault Rifles are used by Medics
LMGs are used by Heavy Assault
Sniper Rifles are used by Infiltrators

The alpha squad package is definitely worth it compared to regular SC price, it's a good way to help the devs and may even appeal to those who wish to be a beautiful and unique snowflake when the game gets older. However there is no reason to hide its limits.
But today is indeed a good opportunity to compensate for the package's rigidity
