Is anyone else concerned about the impact of turrets placed indoors?
I'm sure there is some type of feature that prevents them from being stacked up side-by-side, but what about positioning them a small distance in front of doorways? People just run through the door only to get raped by an indoor turret that has a shield and can virtually take out just about anything coming through the doorway albeit a MAX.

From what I've learned so far, it looks like those turrets are manned only. Add on top of that things like MAX suits, plenty of nades, maybe some AV weaponry, and the disadvantages of being in a static location, and I don't think it'll be a big problem. In addition, I'm guessing there's alot of balancing to do in that area, and I suspect there'll be other limitations, such as how many turrets you can place per engineer, possibly a timer if it's powerful enough to warrant one (much like the MAX suit timers), etc. Who knows, they might even treat it like a vehicle or spitfire turret and have jammer 'nades stop them from firing for a while.
