Question Hunter cloak VS Nano-Armor Cloak

Alright so, i'm at that point were i'm starting to pickup 2nd level certs. I play infiltrator for NC primarily, but heres my question:

Whats the difference between hunter cloak and Nano Armor cloak. I need numbers here, i cant make an intelligent decision with out them.

I know the nano armor cloak makes you less vulnerable while cloaked, okay i get that, but how long does it last compared to the hunter cloak?

Does it recharge at the same rate as hunter?

In peoples experience, is it worth it? Which do you prefer and why?

Thanks guys!

P.S.

Sub question: I also read that infiltrators can use some carbines and even a shotty? I only got my sniper/scout rifles... Whats up with that?

Consider the hunter cloak armor states that all it does is improve the regen rate of the shield, its safe to say that the nano armor wont recharge as fast as the hunter cloak....

nano makes u less vulnerable but dies quickly. Hunter makes regen much faster. Thats all it think that they do.

During beta there was a period when they trialled giving shotties to infiltrators. It was taken out before the live release. As to 'why?' I believe it was viewed as being unbalancing, but obv there were strong opinions on both sides of the debate.

I have no idea why they think we should have a hell of a time at mid range and short range in every situation.

Granted, but being able to sneak up and put a shotgun to the back of someone's head was a bit much..... It was fun... but a bit much.

That was when they brought out the scout rifles that are suppose to be a midrange weapon in between the snipe and pistol.

Yeah but aiming those things are so difficult because the reticle is such garbage (when firing from the hip.)
