using controller on windows 8

I looked at the error and it seems that planet side was targeting a function that no longer exist in the new input dll.

I took the windows 7 64 bit dll and putted them into my planetside folder root.

The game is no longer crashing and my logitech gamepad now work flawlessly . Hopefully this will help someone it took me a few hour to get there.
