One Hit Wonders

So I recently got a MP3 player, and I'm looking for some cool songs to fill it up with. So I got the bright Idea that I'd come in here and ask you guys what you Favroite "One Hit Wonders" were. That way I can go DL a few cool songs.

Anyway lets hear about the bands we may have forgotten about. Here's a few from me:

Toadies: Possum Kingdom
Crease: Frustration
Nonpoint: What a Day

ok your turn.

Toadies, I still have that cd

here are a few
Orbit: Bicycle song
Hum: Green to me
Refreshments: Banditos (too bad this can't be classified as a "cool" 1 hit wonder)

Toadies: Possum Kingdom
That wasn't their only hit. What about I Come From the Water and Tyler?

They recently had a top 100 one hit wonders on VH1 the other day. Macareena (or however you spell it) got #1.

My favorite one hit wonder is the Guano Apes - Open Your Eyes
I love that song.

How about:

The Cardigans - Love me(I think?)
Nada Surf - Popular
Luscious Jackson - Under Your Skin

There are a million more, and I'll post em' as I think of them.

MEEEp no one hit wonder. Guanos are very famous, if not the most famous crossoverband, here in germany! And since they had another 2 hits in America, they hardly can be called one hit wonders.

Toadies could be concidered a one hit wonder. They had one hit album and were all wondering what happened to them.

Here's another:

Blind Melon: No Rain

(death has a way of fucking up your career.)

You wondered what happened to them because they broke-up. Hell Below Stars Above was their follow-up to Rubberneck and it was a pretty good album. I usually consider one hit wonders bands that only have one hit song.

Well they're one hit wonders to me! Open Your Eyes is the only song I've ever heard by them.

I hated that "I come from the water" so I didn't consider it a hit, but you did remind me of the other one that got a ton of Radio play "Away"

Bush might fall into the category of bands that outstayed their welcome. People got so bored with them putting a new album out every couple of years. It seemed like they were doing it more for the cash than the music and that rubbed some people wrong. I think there's a good chance we will never hear from them again, though.
