In-game voice chat

Hello fellow PS2 players, I was wondering if someone could help with a problem an outfit member of mine is having with there in-game voice chat. He seems to be having trouble hearing and/or speaking in game. We have gone through all his settings in game and out. He has no problem in other games like BF3. Has anyone had this same issue? Any help would me helpful. Thank you.

I had this same issue. When I turned up the ingame chat volume it fixed everything. I hope this helps.

Can't say I know of a fix, but I too have been experiencing this problem, it works sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't and requires a lot of disable/enable of my mic and toying with the settings before I get it to work for that game session. Sorry I can't help any further than providing your friend isn't the only one experiencing this. : )

For some reason my squad chat has been acting weird lately. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Welcome to Vivox. It's been flaky since SOE used it in SWG/EQ2 five or so years ago.
