A New Capture System for a New Map Layout

For all bases:

Make control points a hackable countdown like generators. (You don’t have to be an infiltrator)

To Capture ANY Base:

Hack the point(s) => Once the point(s) is/are down the SCU is vulnerable => Overload the SCU =>Defender spawning stops. Shields to spawn room go down => Attackers flip switch (hold E at a special console) in spawn room => A countdown starts to denote time until capture => If the defenders cannot regain the spawn room to flip the switch back, the territory flips to the attackers => Everything automatically repairs

Points cannot be hacked unless an adjacent territory is held.

The reasoning:

Fights end when the SCU dies. Why not make it more official and give the defenders a real last stand instead of a spawn camp shootout?

At smaller outposts it will force infantry confrontations before it can flip, cutting down on the tank swarm’s effectiveness at outright capturing a territory.

I can modify this formula to fit several different preferences. Since people tend to not read/respond to walls of text, I’ll refrain.
