A ban would not delete your character unless it was something outrageous that affected the Leaderboards. You're likely just suspended. You won't be able to access anything until it is over. You should have an email about it. If not, contact customer service via phone and get the info. You're an idiot, like most of the human race, and made a mistake. So is not normal to not be able to log in into SOE and even Planetside 2 Launch window?
