Comments on new screenshots

Yeah. I got some comments god damn it. All of you who don't want to hear it, leave the thread quietly. Thank you.

First, I noticed one of the screenshots shows a soldier from a 3rd person view with the camera above and behind the soldier. Is this a possible view when you're a grunt?

Second, I noticed a camera view from above two soldiers, are there cameras in bases and controll panels allowing you to access the cameras vision?

Third, is that max thats completely yellow level 17-20 or something? I do not want to be completely yellow 3 months after I buy the game lol.

Fourth, they actually kept the blue circles coming from the gauss showing that its firing? I know I saw this in a video somwhere, but I thought they weren't actually going to keep it. That looks incredibly gay, (scuse my homophobia ^^) and I really really don't like it lol.

Fifth, what the hell is that max in? Leaves? They look wooden, are there actually going to be dense jungle locations? Haven't seen any jungle ss's.

Sixth, what's with the red filling the screen as you're shot? What is this? doom? I despise that red covering everything... I find it the most annoying thing in any game, the only thing I didn't like about doom in fact back in the early 1990s... since you were always being shot so your screen was constantly red...

Seventh, I noticed that all the gausses only have 30 round clips, is this a change in the beta because of complaints against it? About a month or two ago pics came out with ss's of gauss's having 40 rounds per clip, not 30. Is the Cycler's clip also being toned down?

1 - Yes.
2 - As far as I know, there are no cameras, but I may be mistaken.
3 - Indeed. Lvl 20-ish, and yes, you will be all yellow 3 months into the game

4 - I thought it looked gay myself.
5 - Some of the old screen shots show some really dense forest terrain. That MAX may be near the thick of it.
6 - I think that should be taken out as well. I find it annoying...those little bars showing you from what direction you got shot are just fine, that red screen stuff is overkill.
7 - I wouldn't know, not in beta.

Yes, someone agrees with me on the gay blue circles coming out of the gauss and the gay red screen. Oh no... i accidentally *bump*ed my thread, *wink*.

2 I believe bases do have cameras yes.
3 good point, I don't know.
4 Looks fine to me.

5 I think those are tree's that have some sort of bizzare wooden leaves sticking in all directions. They're on a desert continent.
6 Indeed, I hope you can turn that off.
7 ? I'm too lazy to look through all the old pics of the gauss to confirm/deny this.

i dont think theres much we cna do about these things anyway..but i agree with the red screen and the blue circles..putting those in just seems kinda dumb to me...i eman dumb idea..i am not inulting any devs....

As for the red screen, there's probably gonna be an option to turn it off. Doubt they'd force it on you. And you can turn it off in UT2k3, so I don't see why you couldn't...

If there isn't an option to turn the blue circles off, I beg to god theres an option to not see your gun in first person. Looking at those annoying blue circles every time you fire your gun would be obnoxious...

1 - Yes, they made some changes recently that do not alllow you to pan around however.

2 - ? Not sure what you are referring to

3 - Play TR or VS

4 - ? What difference does it make hehe. I honestly dont know, i try to steer clear of the gauss as TR

5 - eh?

6 - its not like it lights up for a minute. Its just a quick flash to let you know you are being hit.

7 - ? Things change

damn, hamma, it's as if you know the least out of everyone on the forums. After looking at alot of your posts they tell absolutely nothing. If someone makes a complaint you say "stay away from that" or "it's not that bad" and if someone asks a question you give a response that doesnt answer the question.

2.) doubt it, nothing official on it
3.) Won't be completely yellow, but the yellow chickensuit is teh NC curse =P
4.) Don't use the gauss then. Use the punisher
5.) Some sort of desert plant native to auraxis. Its not earth you know.

7.) 30 rounds should be plenty, it's the best bang pr shot assault rifle you know.
