Current faction statistics

I was wandering if any one knew what the current faction numbers out.

What is the most popular and least popular, because What side I pick willd epend alot on how many people are on each one.

I currently see a trend in NC being the most popular.

If any beta tester or some one could let me know thated be great.

According to the poll taken by SOE about a month or so ago TR was the most popular, but things will probably change at release when they see all of the empires differences first hand.

I have a good feeling the numbers on each side will be very even. Here is my educated guess on the numbers.

TR - 35%

NC - 32.5%

VS - 32.5%

Not that the TR is better, but a lot of people seem to like the TR. I personally like the NC, as you can see from my sig.

I think all should keep in mind that each server will have different ratios of each faction. So even if out of all PS players more play as TR for example, there could still be servers where TR are always out numbered.

if our outfit database gives you any idea on what the splits will be, it's:

NC: 77
TR: 63
VS: 62

TR is the most populat but there are more NC outfits. Vanu just plain suck. Join my outfit and you won't regret it

If you choose not to join then fair enough but please, please don't joina VS outfit. I don't wanna have to hunt you down and kill you.

I would think, from a psychological point of view, that due to the back story, TR will be the most popular.

I'm guessing this because in terms of the history, they are presented as being "loyal" to their origins, while the other two are factions that are splitting off.

Since I don't recall anything showing the original empire as being particularly oppressive or evil, I would tend to think that the loyalists might be viewed more favorably, all other things being equal.

What are those numbers representing?

My guess, is that by the time its realesed, it will be about the same number of players to each side, as many players will simply choose the side with the fewest players...


And besides, that overall statistic aint gonna help u shit.

There are 5 servers that im avere of, and it's the statistic on ONE of those that is interesting. There could be 70-10-20 on one server, yet the overall statistics could still be showing 33-33-33...
