Like I said in this thread, the weapons design team didn't do their homework properly. As cool as some weapons look now, they don't make any logical sense.

Yeah, it seems like they don't really want to put the effort into it unfortunately. Some of their newer designs look great, but as their new weapon list grows the older weapons just look out of place in comparison.

I think the Ursa looks great and cant wait for the other Vanu Lmg's to get a similar overhaul .
However most of all I'd like to see a complete redesign of the Vanu scopes , the majority of them are terrible with cunky casings taking up half of the screen . A few are un-useable with stupid fin's and extra crap around the reticule you loose a giant portion of the screen to the damn thing scoped or not . |

I swear they've done a few stealth changes to weapons not mentioned in the reskin. My Carnage BR feels like its missing something now (handle between the pistol grip and the magwell?).
Other than that, I like the changes for TR. Their weapons looked even more similar to each other than NC weapons IMO. Went ahead and got the Carbine and LMG that were reskinned as a result. However, if the devs are going to reskin weapons, they should really go the whole way and change the weapons' icons too. The Rhino still has its old icon for example. A bit half-arsed if you ask me. Other than that, its good that they changed something! The weapons in general for all factions suffer from too much ressemblance between themselves. A good step, keep 'em coming! |
