It would be nice to know why I had to use my valuable download and limited internet usage. They're lucky it's under the 700 mark otherwise I'd be demanding answers. As it stands I'm more curious.

My fps has increased since the latest patch so may have been that.

That aside, reason why so little "good" updates since SOE live I suspect is because most devs are on vacation.

All I know is what Clegg said on FNO last night, he mentioned some fixes that relate to the EU ProSiebien retail release and I think something about some initial removing of unnecessary files but that they won't be able to know more until Monday probably.

Personally I'm concerned that elements of an older version of the build have leaked in somehow, we're suddenly getting alerts during prime time again which frankly is killing off my passion for playing again (In the sense that alerts can completely disrupt player decided goals & triggers large scale fourth empiring.) and several people in outfit have been having this weird thing where you can put half a clip into someone who then spins around and gets you in one brief burst, like the servers are struggling to handle data packets evenly/fairly due to, maybe proximity to server or ping or some other thing. :-(

It's like if they are quiet for a week the game is cancelled.

Also as Larington said Clegg explained at least an idea of what the patch is. SOE is not responsible for peoples bandwidth caps.

Well, when a patch comes out it is not unreasonable to expect, uh, patch-notes. Personally i thought that's what the little window in the launcher is for. "Latest News" and all.

If a company adds something to an online game which MUST be put on before launching the game, then I say they're responsible. At least when it comes to that game. To pretend otherwise is to turn your back on people with caps and is therefor bad business (hence why online games don't take 15+ gig like some single player ones).

And I don't think it's asking too much to be in the know about what uses a limited resource. Wouldn't you want to know who ate your snack when you wasn't looking?
