Remove the "Redeploy" button

It serves no purpose since the /suicide console command still is in the game.
And i rather use that one since it's faster. So the redeploy button just takes up space on the map screen.
Thank you.

Edit for clarification: /Sarcasm

What a strange complaint. Suicide is what should be removed, since it's much faster than the design of Redeploy. Suicide is something left over from Testing days, while Redeploy is a designed feature with a timer to balance it. Having a "suicide" command also sends the wrong message to kids.

This is pretty hidden feature actually, but the /suicide is faster because it counts as a death. There's a misconception that the two are the same, but they're not. If you just need to deny a kill then /suicide is the fastest option, but if you have a few seconds then you can just use the redeploy. Two options for players.

Not to mention an uncomfortable reminder for some that have seen too much of it as it is. And the rest of what you said also has merit, so it should be suicide that should be removed as IMO it's technically "cheating" as it defeats the whole purpose of redeploying (no cool down). Furthermore, I would like it if you had to select a destination to deploy to and not die when doing it (you can see yourself dying on the map and while on that topic does it count against you stat wise?) as it also sends something of a wrong message. Nor is redeploy gone into much detail in training.

Just to clarify, i was being sarcastic in my op (should have marked that somehow).
OF COURSE /suicide needs to go, because it gives people who give a shit about k/d nonsense like me a clear time advantage. I made a similar thread about this topic like over half a year ago and now was completely baffled to find out that this silly beta command STILL is in the game.

Inconsistent and mindbogglingly stupid crap like this is what adds to the non-appeal this game has to new players. It may seem like a small issue (what makes you wonder even more why nobody has fixed it), but believe me, it adds up.
