The Big Day!

Alright guys, the big day is coming, planetside 1 will be f2p. Now everyone has been complaining and have been scared that the game will be dead because SOE isn't advertising the game. Well, if they won't advertize it, then we will. Go talk to all your friends about it. Think about it that way: I have about 100 contacts on steam, let's say I tell all of them about the game, I tell all of them to try it. About 20 of my friends will probably actually try the game. About 3/4 of them probably won't like the game too much, or they just won't stick with it. That leaves us with a strong 5 more people playing the game. Now, you tell those friends to do the same thing I did. That way we can increase Planetside's player-base with great speed. All you gotta do is believe. Happy advertising!

They pushed the date back to April 16th. This happened back in February.

Looks like they changed the date again. The post was updated today with a new date of April 23th. Seems like this might never happen. Guessing they'll change it again a week before it supposed to happen. They should just say "Soon" I guess. <shrug>

I'm wlling to cut them some slack there though, considering the plan (afaik) is to make the game truely "free to play" without micro transactions or limitations.
Actually if they do that and fix all the bugs i'm perfectly fine with waiting even another month.

They better not pull any tricks though. I'm watching you. 0_0
