Is Triage Granting XP correctly?

This weekend I was in my medic suit and a friend in his MAX suit jumped into my sundy, completely healed, and I got zero notifications the entire time. I'm not sure if it's a notification bug or that I am not getting any xp or if it was just a fluke due to the crazy populations during double xp.

Is medic triage supposed to heal MAXes? You can't heal them normally, right?
