As for the train station this is what I think happened. In Reloaded, he emp's the sentinels. Then he is in the coma. In Revolutions, when he was talking to the Oracle I believe, he asks her questions regarding what he was supposed to do, and why she didn't tell him. Then she points to the sign above her door way. I think it means, Know thyself, and she explains that he wasn't ready to know that he had predecessors and the such. It gets brought up, why could he stop the sentinels in the real world and then she explains that the power of the one extends past this world(the matrix). She then explains that he should've died from the emp blast because he wasn't ready. But, he was in the real world then. So instead of "giving up" and dieing, he fought it, and ended up in between the real world and the matrix.

Yes, its still kinda etchy how he got there, but wts....
The problem is that that doesn't make sense.

How does the power of the source extend beyond the matrix? Where did this power come from.

The souce is not some kind of metaphysical god. It is something of the machine world. The would suggest that Neo needed some kind of sensor that can detect electricity, but only certain types of electricity. He also need to be able to broadcast a signlal over a veriety of frequencies, know what frequency to send at at any given moment, and know the propper commands to send.

And how does this power allow Neo to leave his body and enter programs? If this is so then neo shouldn't even have to jack into the matrix. But we see neo jacking out of the matrix (I won't even get into the problem of going from the train to the matrix without being jacked and then suddenly jacking in.)

BTW it wasn't an EMP blast that put neo in the coma. Neo had experienced EMP blasts before (like in the first movie) with no negative results.

Gerbil's ideas on a couple of things...

Neo's real world powers
The Oracle stated that Neo's power extends to the source. The source being Neo himself. This implies that Neo could have the same abilities outside thw Matrix as he does inside. I think all the minds that were freed have a special ability (psychic abilities?) to some extent. Think about it this way, why was Neo the only one who could fly in the matrix? I think it was because his mind/thoughts were powerful enough to allow him to do this. In the first matrix Morph told Neo that the Matrix was based on a set up rules, and just like the real world, those rules could be broken.

The Train Station
The train station is a sort of Limbo between the machine world and the real world. The train acted as some sort of conduit or transport. Possibly a loader of some sort, a machine input/output port, floppy disk drive, etc.

We know the machines are communicating with each other all the time (radio or some means). Is it possible the energy blast (psychic energy) from Neo accessed this "loader" program ie: the train station through the squidy's? This would explain why the oracle said it should have killed him, possibly because there was no physical link between Neo's body and his conscience.

Marv' was the loader program inside the Matrix so that is why he had access to the train station. He was responisble for choosing which program to load.

We see Neo leave the train station by unjacking on board the hammer. This is because Trinity rode the train back and brought (loaded) Neo into the Matrix.

Neo's Real world abilities (later in the movie)
Again, his powers are psychic based, that is why it appears to be so draining on his body. The mines were easy, but the longer he fought, the weaker he was getting. This is the reason they had to pull up, since he could no longer fight off the squids.

Smiths death
This was very cool how Smith was finally defeated. Smith was able to become so powerful because he was unplugged from the system. The machines could no longer track him and delete him once he had become a rogue program. By assimilating with Neo, the machines had access to Smith's code, because Neo was jacked into the machines. As soon as Dues Ex saw that Smith had assimilated with Neo, the machines destroyed the code.

Neo's Death
I do believe Neo is dead. The final scene with the machine hauling him off is almost symbolic of Jesus hanging on the cross. His legs are close and arms are outstreached to the sides. The whole idea of our savior dying for us...pretty cool stuff there. Neo's mind/conscience is to powerful to be destroyed, so that may be permanently resident in the Matrix though. THis could be the reason the Oracle implies that we will see him again.

No Sorry TRG
but the source was what he was going to
in the "real world"(i believe its fake)
He went to the source by traveling
first to a machine city
then following the power lines to it's SOURCE
which was the SOURCE of the Machines
:rambling:
probably C1 or something i forgot what they named it in the cartoon but the first city the machines built that wupped the worlds ass in Economics
:rambling:
Other wise I agree,
-----------------------------------------
I loved how the machines kida idealized him in the end taking him away on the Huge Thing (was it moving or we were?)
-----------------------------------------
To the portable/aimable EMP
it takes alot of power to make an EMP
the "HoverCraft" had to divert about 5 minutes power to power it remember the "charge the EMP" line every time?
if there was an EMP gun it wouldnt fire more then one shot and be the size of a tank wasting ALOT OF POWER
and then it still need to be aimable which would take EVEN MORE POWER
and they were tight on power having to make
Power, Water, Food, Light, Air, Ships, Guns, Etc.
So in affect one think balance if they had a nuke some H bombs and EMP and the whole
"I've got a small dick so ill make an ungodly amount of destructive weapons" load
then the movie would be over with one guy pushing a little red button and everything goes kabloie
and the movie was about balance, and also also also!!
DO you like VS or TR/NC? hmmmm lots and lots of bullets or one obital strike which is more fun? Which looks better? Which TAKES longer?
----------------------------------------------
Plot its in every movie, pretty much extending the Trinity Death Scene was vital especially because it hits you harder the longer it lasts you realize alot of things if you dont just think "hurry up, i want more fighting"
You could of Realized the following:
1) He's Lost his eyes how can he survive?
2) He's Lost his Reason For fighting Will he keep going?
3) Will He Save her Again?
4) How Does he Get back to Zion with out a pilot/working ship?(ah snap maybe he wont be going back?)
5) How long can Someone live with 3 Metal Rods jabbed threw them?
----------------------------------
Neo Was the Never Giving up Human Spirt, With Godly powers
He was a religious figure to most of Zion except the Military how arent religious
Neo wanted to end the war at all cost and without trinity life would not be Good, Dieing wouldn't be bad at all for him
Neo was the link from the SOurce to Smith

How else were they going to get ride of smith?
For a few minutes there i actually thought smith was just going to go insane.

Is there a text limit on posting?
Oh well i keep going as long as i can think
i was up at 7 am and its 11 pm im tired but if i see a quote worth quoting ill comment more lets seeeee
---------------
the gun and ammo thing provided five things needed
1)a way to get mr 16 year old Neo wannabe into some action
2)another place for love to Triumf
3)Realism
4)sense of how freaking long they were fighting
and
5) how scary it really was, especially having to send boys out to refill the Mechs,
"without our youth Life would decay quickly"
-------------------------------------------------------
On the Ending:
With having that Huge Smith Water battle they needed atleast a 30 minute cool down period before they give the ending
Because you cant switch us from
adrenaline pumping kick ass fight scene,
To awww he's our savior,
To Everyone Rejoice,
To Father and Mother meet Father pretty much say then mother and Sadi watch the sun rise
its unfair we cant change mood that quick so of coarse we will all say that sucks
and a Movie that Leaves you thinking and talking at the end does more then just its part
it makes you use your brain and
that my friend is real entertainment
-----------------------------------------
I believed from Reloaded that there were 6 matrix's built one on top of the other, that's how i explained Neo's abilty to kick machine but out of the first matrix so naturally they could have him defeat matrix after matrix with his yang chasing after him or they could leave it open make another billion dollars on another movie
Ok im done Thank you to any of you that read this whole thing

Which is why Dune, and Dune 2 and then Dune 2000(remake of Dune 2, I think) are good games IMO
